Kara Colvin is a 22 year old singer-songwriter and musician from West Palm Beach, FL. She plays 4 instruments: piano, guitar, violin, and ukulele. She has been writing songs since she was about 5 years old. She released her first single in December of 2017 at the age of 16 and her first album in 2019 at 18. Her album was written, produced, recorded, and mixed and mastered by herself. Kara graduated from both Bak Middle School of the Arts and Dreyfoos School of the Arts as a Strings major for violin. She then got her degree from Colby-Sawyer College with a minor in Performing Arts. In 2022, Kara earned an official Grammy Award Consideration from the Recording Academy for the 65th Annual Grammy Awards for her track 'Fired Up' in the Best Pop Solo Performance category. She is currently finishing up her second album with 'Fired Up' being the first track.
